Objective
The course aims to provide graduate students in MSc. or Ph.D. programs in Biomedicine, Biology, Biotechnology and Chemistry, from our country and the region (South America), with an integrated and updated view of mitochondrial physiology and its role in cell biology and pathology; along with methodologies to study mitochondrial bioenergetics, dynamics and oxidant formation.
Students
Priority will be given to graduate students whose projects or study interests align with the course theme. Undergraduate students with significant progress in their studies who can justify their interest in taking the course will also be accepted.
A limited number of partial scholarships will be awarded to students who are not residents of Montevideo, Uruguay. Interested applicants may request a scholarship when applying for the course.
